We often receive requests to retrofit stages for the Cody building design. Cody stages typically have stationary cyclorama panels and drapery configurations that don't allow for a variety of uses. Our retrofit allows us to put in traveling cyclorama curtains and additional valances to provide better masking of the entire stage.
We offer two basic options for the retrofit:
Option 1
Option 1 offers stable support of the curtains and track. It includes hanging all-thread drops from the ceiling and attaching them to level pipe battens. This provides a secure grid work to hang the curtain track system as well as scenery or additional lights.
Option 2
Option 2 bypasses the pipe batten grid and hangs the track system in a level position by chain secured to the ceiling. This option provides a cost savings over option 1.
